Leading with our 1st program – The Africa Re:think (TAR) Mentorship Program. Since 2017, we have mentored young and seasoned professionals for accelerated growth and fulfilment – lending our genuine voice to the “Truly Africa Rising” chain reaction & narrative.
Our subsequent programs and initiatives would promote and leverage 3 strategic pillars for the positive chain reaction required for a more sustainable African economy and prosperity.
1. Show and tell: Sharing our small victories is not complacency or bragging as it is needed to lift others out of obscurity. It’s time to craft and tell those beautiful stories including the learnings emerging. Social media can be a credible channel and a detractor but the upsides outweigh the negatives.
2. Build empowerment and human capital: Send the elevator back. Who else might find our knowledge useful? Time to ditch the silos – we need positive reinforcing safe spaces and communities charging forward as a collective unit.
3. Embrace systems thinking and dialogue: How do my actions and perspectives affect the other – middle ground, end goal and big picture. When we work on Africa’s shared interests – we have strength in numbers and should build with our inter connectivity at heart just like we do in our respective day to day spheres of life.
